Special needs trust / supplemented needs trusts (snt)
A Special Needs Trust, or Supplemented Needs Trust (SNT) is a special trust that is created to enable a disabled person to qualify for medicaid while protecting their assets.

These trusts are designed for disabled persons under the age of 65. The purpose of the trust is to allow them to apply for and receive Medicaid and other governmental benefits while retaining some value in their estate in the trust.
